Time to say Goodbye

It is 6:00 a.m. and time for me to say goodbye. I had such a great time here. I enjoyed being by myself and lounging around. I loved my bungalow, the beach, and the restaurant options, but I really wish there was more sun. The west coast is not far, but it seems more sensible to do some sightseeing now. I feel so refreshed that I am looking forward to experiencing the culture of the north and then enjoying some time on the beautiful beaches of the west coast. It is now the best time to travel there, as it is not the rainy season. I can recharge before moving on to Indonesia. I will meet Melanie there, and I am excited about it. She has subtly hinted that lying flat on the beach is not her thing and she likes to be active, meaning she wants to see and move forward. That is why it seems even more logical to listen to my gut and thoroughly satisfy my need for beach and relaxation before.

Goodbye Gulf of Thailand! I loved swimming in you.
