#4 - Cape Town - Camps Bay Beach

After the exciting day yesterday, we took it easy today. We had a leisurely breakfast and then took the shuttle to Camps Bay Beach. It is an attractive beach section of Cape Town.

The hotel staff are generally very, very friendly, and the driver kindly took us - presumably entirely selflessly - to an ATM. Of course, there was a tip for this extra detour (as always) 😁.

Since the weather forecast didn’t look very promising, we dressed warmly... However, it was actually very warm in the midday sun. Luckily, I always have sunscreen in my backpack... but it didn’t help. We both got a little sunburned 😅🙈.

I joked about this with the concierge at the hotel later. He said that he had never had a sunburn... We immediately began to laugh heartily 😁..

As for breakfast, we were basically just full. But it was lunchtime after all. What can you do 🤷🏼‍♂️😃. So we enjoyed ourselves on the promenade.

Originally, we wanted to go to Table Mountain in the afternoon. Unfortunately, the weather didn't cooperate overall. Therefore, we took the shuttle again in the afternoon to the

tourist district of the Waterfront.

We arrived back at the hotel punctually because we need to get up early the next day 🤪.
