A little bit of peace, anyone? The Klong Muang Beach in Krabi

Are you wondering if there are quiet places in Krabi? Yes, there are! Away from the main beaches around Ao Nang and Railay, there are a few hidden gems. One of them is the Klong Muang Beach. You can reach it from Ao Nang by taxi or you can rent a scooter. We preferred to be driven and we were already there after about 20 minutes. What we found was an almost deserted, beautiful, spacious beach with plenty of shade. It doesn't get any better than this! Somehow this beach reminded us a little bit of Khao Lak...

Since there is unfortunately a lot going on in the area around Ao Nang, we enjoyed the quiet day at the beach. The water at Klong Muang is crystal clear and there are no loud longtail boats to disturb the peace. Today I also treated myself to a Thai massage right on the beach. What can I say? We had a completely relaxed day at the beach, away from the hustle and bustle. After a few hours, our taxi driver came back to pick us up as agreed.

The Tubkak Beach is also supposed to be really beautiful and even quieter, but unfortunately we didn't visit it ourselves. We'll save that for next time!
