Tag 064/065/066

We enjoyed Hoi An for two more days and still took something with us. This time two dresses went missing. Falk got a custom-made bikini 🤭🧜‍♂️ and after 5 years, my wallet had to go. The old one was also from here and has served faithfully!

On day 065, it was time to travel again. Bus and train were booked today. We took the local bus - without getting ripped off this time - and then the night train to Mui Ne. The destination known for sun and beach is about 530km and 13 hours south. With an hour delay, we arrived at the hotel around 03.30am and fell wide awake into bed.

The train journey passed through picturesque landscapes, mountains, rice fields, backyards, cities, and dragon fruit fields that are brightly lit at night. A very impressive ride through Vietnam!!!

This afternoon, Klärchen kissed us and this great view woke us up.

With these great pictures, we want to give you a few days of rest. We have decided not to contact you again until we are on a different continent.

Nevertheless, we still want to give you a brief summary of the now already 2 MONTHS:

INDONESIA - great beaches, great activities even away from tourists, beautiful islands with great snorkeling opportunities, unfortunately the plastic problem remains in our memory.

SINGAPORE - cool city with everything your heart desires, comes alive at night and invites you to linger. A MUST DO!

MALAYSIA - Kuala Lumpur was nothing special for us, otherwise we had a great beach vacation and nice encounters. Langkawi is definitely worth a visit.

BANGKOK - a vibrant city with a lot of love for the king, 3 days were enough for us.

CAMBODIA - It surprised and captivated us very positively. Although it is one of the poorest countries, the people are so warm, friendly, and not quite so pushy. They are content with what little they have. We met many great people, visited cities whose names we had never heard before, and felt very comfortable. An absolute MUST DO!!!

VIETNAM - (for Ulli) worth seeing even the second time. HOI AN captivated us and we would have liked to have more time. From the mountains to the sea, everything is included and deserves more than just 14 days to explore.

Now a new adventure is waiting for us and we are looking forward to it!
