Today again all day sunshine

In Sæbø we take advantage of the beautiful weather to take a few photos. Even as we drive past Kvistaddal, we take more photos of the jagged mountain peaks, which are beautifully clear in the sunshine today.

Then we continue to Ålesund. Here we stay in a small cabin with only a bed, table, and refrigerator, but a terrace overlooking the water and distant mountains.

The city center of this pretty town is easily accessible by bike from the campsite and we spend a few hours here. Ålesund is known for its location on the water - spread over three islands - and its Art Nouveau houses.

In 1904, a large part of the city consisting of wooden houses burned down. Since Emperor Wilhelm frequently visited here, he had an influence on rebuilding the city with Art Nouveau stone houses.
