Day 16 - Copenhagen

بڵاوکراوەتەوە: 30.08.2016

My day started at half past four. I had a restless night and had to take an aspirin because my coccyx was bothering me a lot. It had been hurting since our jump from the 10-meter-high diving board in Sweden. Since it was a Tuesday, there was already a lot of hustle and bustle at this time, and I no longer found it so cozy in the car. So I woke up Jessica and then we went to the gas station to change clothes. Afterwards, we booked a hotel room, a bit more expensive but at least we finally had something. We parked the car there and spent the rest of the day walking around Copenhagen - where we immediately fell in love with the city. Although we said that Stockholm was the most amazing city ever, we revised our opinion. Copenhagen topped Stockholm. The buildings were charming, the people interesting, and the food great. All in all, it had an incredibly cool atmosphere. Since we didn't have breakfast, we ate at a restaurant called Heering, right by 'Nyhavn' - the harbor. The food was perfect. We continued to stroll through the city all day, taking everything in and buying this and that. We spent a long time in an old bookstore and a poster shop. The day passed way too quickly and before we knew it, we could check into the hotel and carry our stuff upstairs. Afterwards, we went to the nearby park to eat something small.
