Havana part 2.

بڵاوکراوەتەوە: 12.07.2017

After our tour through Central Cuba, we return to Havana. This time to the neighborhood of Central Havana. Unfortunately, we are not satisfied with the Casa there, so we head to the Old Town first and go to our first Casa. On site, another Casa in Central Havana is arranged for us for 2 days, and we can spend the last two nights in Havana Viaja again. So that's settled. In the evening, we grab something to eat before heading back. On Sunday morning, we move early and go through Central Havana and along the Malecon to the Old Town. We treat ourselves to a few mojitos and let Max's last evening end. The next morning, we get up early because it's May 1st, Labor Day. We want to go to the Plaza de Revolution, where Raul Castro will speak for the first time instead of Fidel Castro and where the big parade will pass. Unfortunately, there is no way through anymore and we can only watch a part of the gigantic parade. Quite a lively atmosphere here. We spend the afternoon comfortably with some mojitos for Max and have a relaxed dinner. The next morning, we move to the Old Town again. From there, we head to Santa Maria Beach, which we already know. One last time Caribbean Sea for Bine. After the sunset, we take a taxi back to the city and go to the excellent restaurant A Qui for another meal. Now it's already Bine's last day. The majority of the day is spent shopping. In the afternoon, there is "Ropa Viaja" again, and then Bine's taxi goes to the airport. Now it's only Max and me again. In our last week of the trip, we will travel to Vinales, the tobacco-growing area, and then spend our last few days at the beach to end our 9-month journey.

See you soon

Max and Marius
