On the way back to Melbourne, we made a stop in Kennett River, which is famous for its koalas. The koalas were easily visible, but they were not the main attraction of the town. The parrots were very friendly and ate bird food from the local café out of our hands. We then visited the Sheoak Falls and the Splitpoint Lighthouse. We stopped by the chocolaterie again to share a huge ice cream. After that, we went to our hostel in the Melbourne suburb of St. Kilda. Once we dropped off our bags, we went to the pier. There is a colony of little penguins who are active at night. After a very late dinner, we returned to the hostel for one last night.
