Tag 7 - Hervey Bay

Thanks to the long route the day before, we were able to start the day a little more relaxed today. Had breakfast, put more tape on the broken valve and got the camper ready to go before we took a short walk to a viewpoint and then drove the 230km to Hervey Bay.

Shortly after midday we reached Hervey Bay - known for beautiful beaches, election watching and as a starting point for tours to “Fraser Island”.

It was only a few steps from the pitch to the sea, which is why we spent the afternoon on the beach and inaugurated the camper's kitchen in the evening.
