Emilio Innobar

بڵاوکراوەتەوە: 14.08.2016

Absolutely trendy restaurant in Palma! Emilio Castrejón calls his cuisine Japanese-Mexican-Mediterranean cross-over.

Just as multicultural as the dishes he presents to his guests with flowery and detailed descriptions, the master himself is. Emilio hails from Mexico, speaks six languages, lived and learned the culinary arts in the USA, Germany, and also in Japan for 12 years.

Emilio Castrejón has been living in Mallorca since 2002 and has cooked in numerous restaurants, including bar.co in Portixol (a popular hot spot for years), Hotel Zhero, and the Clubhouse of Golf Son Quint. In the spring of 2012, he finally opened his very own restaurant in a narrow alley near the center of Palma de Mallorca. 'Emilio' has been a trendy place ever since. A reservation is highly recommended, especially on weekends. If you want to sit at the coveted table with a view of the kitchen and watch Emilio delicately filet fish with his sinfully expensive Japanese knives, you should make a reservation well in advance.

Good to know:

When 'Emilio' is crowded, the high, undamped room can be very loud. In larger groups, a conversation becomes impossible.

It is best to order several main dishes 'to share'. It is worth getting to know the variety.

The two tables near the kitchen and the large, round table Numero 3 in the glass corner of the restaurant are interesting.

A look at the (constantly changing) menu:

Tuna sashimi (22 euros)

Dorade tataki (22 euros)

Lobster ceviche (15 euros)

Fish ceviche (17 euros)

Vietnamese rolls (17 euros)

Korean beef fillet (24 euros)

Grilled beef fillet (27 euros)

Strawberry sorbet (7 euros)

Chocolate fondant (8 euros)
