After a rich breakfast with '4' toasts, coffee and orange juice, I set off for the next stage. It starts 750 m from the hostel with a metro ride.
Many pilgrims advised me not to walk through Bilbao for the first 2 hours, especially since it only goes through industrial areas in the end. It started raining again. (Enough justification...).
I ride until Portugalete, but I can't take a nice photo of the funicular, it's pouring rain.
Around 10:30 am, the rain subsides a bit and shortly after, the sun even shines again.
And finally, it's back, the sea 🌊. And how, from Pobena to the stage destination, it's a beautiful coastal path.....---- oooooh Camino del Norte, how beautiful you are..
I leave the Basque Country and am now in Cantabria.
Arriving at the hostel, I take a little nap. Then I sit down at the table and write my travel report.
The hostel father sits across from me and makes a little sketch of me, which I think turned out well.
Dinner is coming soon, I'm very hungry.
