Stockholm - beautiful but not for the narrow wallet

After 50 minutes of flying, I was able to take a beautiful view of the first bits of Sweden in the Baltic Sea from the plane.

Arriving at Stockholm airport, the price level immediately caught my attention a few minutes after landing. Bremen - Riga 9.90€ .... Stockholm airport - Stockholm city 13€. But it really exploded with a lasagna in the old town. I had already seen that the lasagna cost 17€ and out of fear, I only ordered a still water. Then the waiter brought me a whole bottle, which appeared on the bill for a modest 12€. Water.... still water .... probably from the tap... that's very expensive for some water. I think.... right? Well... since then I've been living on oat flakes from the supermarket and what others leave behind. Sometimes I reward myself with a nut.

But the amazing views in the city make up for it all. If you ignore the relatively high number of construction sites, it's a really incredibly beautiful city. You're constantly somewhere by the water. The perfect time to be outside is currently around 3 pm. Then the sun slowly sets and the whole thing disappears in amazing colors.

Last night, I left my phone downstairs in the shaft. I noticed it immediately when I got upstairs. It wasn't there anymore downstairs and nobody had handed it in at the reception. That made me really nervous. So I blocked it online for now. But 10 minutes later it was back at the reception. Lucky me... This morning I woke up and my phone was gone. :-) ... I made it ring through Google and realized that it had slipped through the crack into the bed of the girl below me. She was still sleeping and relatively naked. Actually, I wanted to start the day early - but I couldn't rummage through the girl's bed like a pervert. So I waited and eventually woke her up with the search function. She wasn't that naked at all, I noticed - I could have rummaged around :-D

After a few errands, I went to the Vasa Museum. Since I'm over 30 now, I can do things for old people. The Vasa is a warship that sank after only about a kilometer in 1628 - the precursor to the Volvo, or something.... But the special thing is that the ship lay on the seabed for over 300 years before it was painstakingly restored. I walked to the museum with neutral expectations. But when I entered the hall, I was blown away.

A huge fun park in a lovingly designed hall. Allegedly, over 97% are original parts. I also thought that I would get bored. But you could download an audio guide to your phone from their website. As this was also accompanied by sounds, the whole thing was almost like going to the cinema.

Now I'm packing my backpack so I don't annoy the others in the morning. At 5 o'clock I'll take the bus to the airport to break up for Gdansk from there. Goodbye!

Oh yeah: Beer is called "Öl" here !! You're not allowed to drink it in public, it's expensive, and in the supermarket it has a maximum of 3.5%. Extremely annoying! I can't and won't accept that. Still, I demolished two outside! On principle! But very quickly.
