ڕۆژی ١٤: سواربوون

This morning, the calves were up at nine. Then we had breakfast. I spent my morning cleaning as all four cabins were due. But I had help from the couple from Germany, and we finished relatively quickly.

Lunch was somehow skipped today because the couple from Germany went fishing, and it seemed like everyone else was out of the house as well.

Then I tried my hand at Mosa. I cleaned her and prepared her, and we went to a really small spot next to the cowshed. I mounted her and stayed at a walk for a few rounds to get used to her. She's actually a really good horse, and you can really tell that she wants to work and is motivated. Then we went to a slightly larger pasture where I practiced a bit of walk and tölt with her. After three-quarters of an hour, she was completely sweaty. Just like Abba, she hasn't been ridden or trained in the last few months/years.

For dinner, we had make-your-own tacos.

After dinner, Ingveldur's daughter and I picked up the German couple, and on the way back, we saw a huge, complete rainbow.
