Arrival in Split

This afternoon we are heading to Croatia. Jürgen cut his lip with the luggage scale at lunchtime, so we were a bit worried whether it needed stitches or not. As an experienced expert in lacerations, I decided that it would heal on its own.

The flight is on time and the weather in Split is great.

Not so great again... of course... we are not boarding the ship we booked, but a different one that doesn't really match the booked ship in terms of facilities. Also, the cabin has no windows,

so we have to upgrade to be able to look outside.

But apart from the standard, the crew is very nice and the fellow passengers, 28 passengers from Norway, Australia, England, and Germany, are a good mix. After a short welcome, we have a tasty captain's dinner and a bottle of wine on the deck.
