After the exhausting flight, which I managed well despite my fear of flying, and the uncomplicated taxi ride, I tried in vain to sleep...
That didn't work....
So I went out and explored the surrounding area... My first impression of Bangkok was not so great... It's loud and it stinks... well.... culture shock...
In the evening, I went to eat at Harmonique (a restaurant right around the corner)... It was delicious... I conquered my first fear with lots of beer and then went to sleep...
When I looked at my passport in the evening, the first shock came... I booked one day too many.. (instead of 30 days, I'm staying for 31...) ... What now...
This uncertainty robbed me of my sleep... That may not be so bad for other people, but I am soooo far away from home for the first time. And I am alone...
I wanted to take care of it the next day, but I had no idea how...
