Waiheke Island

Here are some photos of Waiheke Island. Yesterday, we took the ferry over to take a break from the car search, which seems to be leading nowhere at the moment. Maybe we'll end up taking the bus after all, which would definitely have its advantages, but unfortunately, we wouldn't be as flexible.. Maybe a miracle will happen and we'll find a vehicle in the last two days we have here in Auckland that is worth its price.

The island was definitely beautiful. We hiked through the Australian jungle, passed by French vineyards, and ended up on the Spanish coast. At least, it felt like it ;)
