At the end of the world

We are in Ushuaia, at the end of the world. We have exchanged our outfits from tops and shorts to long pants, fleece sweaters, jackets, and raincoats. Our first meal: a warm soup and a hot tea, please! Although it is currently summer in the far south of Argentina, it is freezing cold.

Where the Andes meet the Southern Ocean, numerous adventures and hikes await us. Ushuaia takes advantage of its status as the southernmost city in the world and attracts us to Tierra del Fuego (Fire Land).

Day trips through the mountains, passing rivers and lakes, up to the summit. The snow-covered mountain ranges are at their best in the sunshine. The nature is breathtakingly beautiful.

During a trip to Tierra del Fuego National Park, we get a view of rivers, forests, and bays. It looks like a painting. The landscape where we have arrived is too beautiful.
