30th January - A Day in Hermanus

Unfortunately, this morning we noticed that 2 of our fellow travelers weren't feeling well, their stomachs were acting up a bit. But nothing that couldn't be solved with a little bit of chemistry.

After overcoming this little obstacle, we went to Sandbaai (a neighborhood in Hermanus). Marc grew up there and we wanted to see if we could still find his old home - unfortunately, it's been so long and so much has been built and redesigned that we couldn't find it anymore after over 20 years. It was still nice. We then went to Grotto Beach and dipped our feet in the Atlantic (yes, it was too cold for more than that).

After that, we took our "patients" back home and then the three of us went to Fishermans Cottage for a drink in the afternoon. Then it was time to go back to our accommodation, change clothes, and answer the call of dinner. At Chard's, we had delicious burgers, ribs, corn on the cob, and everything else we could wish for.

On the way home, we stopped by Fabio's again to say goodbye to Wietsge. Now we're ready to sleep and rest for tomorrow's journey to Outdshoorn.
