Finally, the van transformation is completed. It took us a lot of work and time, but it was definitely worth it! We are so proud and happy with the result :-)
Considering that initially we couldn't even sit without hitting our heads due to this bulky mattress, and now we can fold our bed as we please, in case the weather is bad.
In addition, we have created a lot of storage space, built a shelf, and created a small home with attention to detail :-).
After finishing work on the farm, we took our van-mobile to the workshop to have it checked before the trip. Everything was fine except for the brake pads, which we changed.
We also visited our farms and Jenny's colleague Annett to say goodbye, but other than that, we spent the whole week working on the van.
We have uploaded all the pictures from the beginning until now, as well as some impressions of the conversion.
Tomorrow, we're going to Toni's place, having breakfast together, and then we're off to Christchurch.
In Christchurch, we plan to buy good hiking shoes and have the electric theft protection in our car deactivated, as well as doing some shopping.
Although the electric theft protection in our car is a great thing, what if the remote control stops working? We don't have a spare, and then we would be stuck. Therefore, we decided to have it deactivated and go directly to Mitsubishi in Christchurch.
