On the trail of ABBA (08/19/2018)

We went back to the "Gamla stan" after breakfast. There Marie and Caro wanted to visit the cathedral. I had already seen it. But when it turned out that you have to pay about 5€ entrance fee, Marie and Caro didn't want to visit it anymore. So we continued along the castle. There we saw the changing of the guards. It's quite a spectacle, but also nice to see.

Then we went to the ABBA Museum. It was really well done. You could do a lot of things yourself, like singing, dancing or quizzes. There was a QR code on the ticket that you could scan and all the things were stored on it. Later you could access them on the internet and download them. You could also see some of the costumes that ABBA wore during their performances and the golden records, etc. It was very informative and funny. We had a lot of fun. The 17€ were really worth it.

Afterwards, we sat in the 'Djurgården' again and had something to eat.

Back in the 'Gamla stan', we bought 'Kanelbullar' (cinnamon buns) and sat by the water to enjoy them. We sat there for a while and enjoyed the nice atmosphere.

Later, we went to the vegetarian 'all you can eat' restaurant, 'Hermans Trädgårdcafé'. I had already been there the last two times I was in Stockholm, so it couldn't be missing this time either. The food there is super delicious and you even get a student discount. We sat on the terrace and watched the sunset over Stockholm from there. Again, we ate way too much, as always when I was there, and then we went back to our airbnb. We still had to pack everything because tomorrow it's time for everyone to continue.

That's sad and beautiful at the same time. It was a really great time with my best friends.
