The Last Dance

Chapter 5.

After taking it easy yesterday and recovering from the pre-party and its aftermath, we went downtown again...

We parked our car right by the John Hancock Tower in the city. In this context, I can highly recommend a great app called 'spothero' to all travel enthusiasts. Since parking fees in US cities can usually put a dent in the travel budget, this app was a real help. Just book your parking space in advance and save up to 75%!

We strolled around the city a bit, had a snack here and there, and simply enjoyed being here. Back at the Hancock Tower, we went up to the 96th floor to 'The Signature Lounge', where we had a quick sundowner and a view that could make you fall in love.

For dinner, we went to an Argentine steakhouse where we indulged one last time at the end of the day.

The last hours before the departure are traditionally dedicated to satisfying our shopping cravings. A fortunate circumstance here in Chicago is that there is a large outlet shopping mall near the airport. So, for our trip this year, it was the last time we made our credit cards glow.

We are now heading to the airport, which is really unfortunate. It was once again a great stay with many great experiences and a lot of fun.

We purposely don't say Goodbye, but SEE YOU NEXT TIME IN THE USA!
