Hello there,
After unfortunately having a bad journey home, Christine and I parted ways this morning. Christine took a train back to Glasgow and then on to London, from where she will return to Vienna with an earlier flight.
While she planned her journey home, I took a little walk around and into the surroundings of Stranraer. I was lucky with the weather and was able to enjoy the view of grazing horses and sheep, and even the sea in the distance, in the sunshine.
In the afternoon, I took a bus to the ferry terminal just outside Stranraer, which is organized like a small airport with check-in and security control. Unfortunately, the ferry had a motor problem and left two hours later than planned, and slower than usual, but I got a free dinner for it. I arrived in Belfast at 8:00pm and luckily was able to ride into the city center with a kind mother and her two little girls. From there, I went to my accommodation. Now I am exhausted and looking forward to bed.
See you tomorrow,
Veronika
