Arriving in the beautiful north of Germany, I was sick right away. I already caught a cold in Munich and unfortunately had to fight it heavily. Nevertheless, I made use of the time at home. With Kathi in tow, I went to Wismar again to have a beer at the Schlauch with Ulli for a farewell =)
Schweinsbrücke in Wismar
From there Kathi and I went on to Poel, so that she can also get to know this wonderful island. We walked from Timmendorf to Schwarzer Busch with a fresh breeze. Towards the end we took a break for a beer and then Carsten picked us up and took us back to Wismar.
Shortly afterwards we went on to my favorite city Kiel! Felix kindly let us stay at his place and also entertained us very well. Besides a lot of delicious food (including a short meeting with Tini), we explored the city and of course visited the sports facilities. I watched the girls from the gymnastics club and had to realize that I was never that good. Completely surprising! =)Back at the sports facilities in Kiel ...
We also took a tour of the fjord and an exclusive guided tour by Felix through the gardens. We also visited Lübeck, but only for about an hour, because Lisa picked us up for a walk on the beach with the dogs.
On that evening we stayed with Lisa and Buddy and had a delicious meal together. The next day I went to Hamburg with Kathi.
After a short ferry ride, we went to a Vietnamese restaurant and then I said goodbye to her and let her go back to Munich =(
For me, it continued to Lüneburg. The guys went on their pub crawl and Lisa and I went to the sauna for about 4 hours. Relaxation is important during vacation! Unfortunately, the relaxation stopped when we drove all the guys home and only came home very early in the morning. For me, it was time to say goodbye again. But only for a short time this time. I continued to Hamburg and spent the last few days in the north with Ina and Michi. It was sooo nice to see the girls again after unfortunately a far too long time. We made the most of our time with a bit of sightseeing, good food, a lot of chatting, and with Aladdin. The musical was awesome!!!
Girls time in Hamburg
The last days before leaving, I spent peacefully with my family. At Easter, we always gather together, so I didn't have to worry about not being able to say goodbye. Although this year we didn't have a real Easter feeling with up to 30 cm of fresh snow, it was as beautiful as always. So I also had enough time to say goodbye to my favorite cousin Susi. Saying goodbye to my parents and my brother was strange this time, because I knew exactly that it will take forever until we see each other again. Thanks to internet telephony, nowadays it's not so dramatic anymore. You can still keep in touch regularly.
Easter different this time
