Arriving in Bideford, we walked along the River Torridge. Past a quaint café on a boat and many small beautiful coves, boat stands, and also some boat wrecks. Once we arrived in Appledore, we decided to have a little snack first, then continued along Irsha Street, which stands out with its small, colorful houses. In Appledore, we could see the sea again, first the Braunton Burrows, and later the mountains behind them, which we all hiked. After Appledore, we went around a bay, then through the Northam Burrows, which also has a golf course. By the way, the wind was really whistling in our ears! Sun, wind, and sea did a great job. In the distance, the coast appeared, waiting for us, including Westward Ho! We arrived after 14.5 km. It was great! In the evening, Barnstaple showed itself from its best side...
