I'm sitting in my room with my host family and I can't sleep. Tomorrow it will be different, then I could sleep but I'm not allowed to, except on the plane and I don't know if I can manage that.
Today, on my last day here in Canada, I visited an old railway bridge
and took a detour over a road that was 200 km longer than the highway, but had less traffic and much more variety in the landscape.
There I could easily stop for a moment to take a photo, because there were no other cars nearby.
After returning the car, I said goodbye to my classmates and had my last meal with my host family. Thank you dear Hughson family for the time I was able to spend with you.
In 4 hours I will already be on my way to the airport and will be traveling for about 20 hours with transfers, etc. I'm already looking forward to the bed at home. A good mattress and familiar sounds. I hope it won't snow next week so that I can have a peaceful start to everyday life.
I will report in my next blog about what this time in Canada has brought me, after I have processed everything and had enough rest.
