Hi! Just a little update. π€ͺ
Not much has happened in the last few days. π
Since I've been back from my vacation, I've been riding again. We were asked by the stable boss if we could search for a lost horseshoe and a fly net in one of the pastures.
We naturally accepted the challenge. After a long search, one of us found the fly net. ππ Since the grass was relatively high, it was difficult to see everything clearly, and we had the feeling that we had missed the horseshoe. We had the idea to change the pasture because the horses were also on other pastures. And indeed, after a close examination, I saw the horseshoe lying in the grass and had to shout, 'I found it!' π΅οΈββοΈπ
As for what else is new in the stable, our cow has finally given birth to her calf! It was named Ferdinand. π
We students who are staying an extra year had an overnight stay at a campground last Monday. This overnight stay was to reflect on what our new tasks will be and what goals we have for the coming year. After the discussion, we played some board games. π
When we got back to the ranch, we were informed about our new advisory family and also received a new room assignment.
Today I spent the day moving into my new room and reorganizing. πͺπ»
Just two more nights, then the new students will arrive. There will be 36 of them this year. π It's very different now than when we were only 14 students together. Let's just say, I'm enjoying the calm before the storm. π
The next month will be a bit stressful, and I will have little time. This month will be like a boot camp in many ways. It's a month where you will be challenged in many areas. I also call it endurance camp. π
A little note for those who want to send me something...
The address of the ranch is:
101 Rodeo Dr, Spring Creek, PA 16436 (United States)
See you in the next blog post, I hope you'll be there! βΊοΈ
