Short progress report, Day 8
Once a day, a boat leaves Boracay to go to Caticlan, and from Caticlan we had to get to Tablas Island first.
The crossing was very difficult, it took many many hours.
As I mentioned before, it's typhoon and monsoon season, so you can imagine how rough the sea was 🌊🌊🌊
🤢🤮
..at the beginning there was also an "unexpected" heavy rain with strong gusts of wind, to top it off we had to wait soaking wet in a ridiculously cold waiting hall with 16 degrees..
🥶🥶🥶
After a 3-hour crossing, we finally arrived at the Tablas port, completely exhausted and with two hyperactive children.
Fortunately, we were picked up from the port in a proper car 🚗 and didn't have to ride in one of those tricycles.
..I thought it would be easy to get some cleaning supplies like mops and kitchen rolls, but I was proven wrong, there are no mops, kitchen rolls, or laundry racks in Odiongan 🙄.
With almost empty hands and something similar to cleaning supplies, we made our way to our apartment in Ferrol, we were all very excited because we were curious to see what our little apartment would actually look like.
In 2016, we bought this small cute apartment here in Tablas, and today was the premiere for us..
Yeahhh!!
