Je höher, desto plums... Und der falsche Bus

Ishicilelwe: 18.09.2016

Hello guys :) The third week here we have now also passed, more or less successfully. But I'll talk about that later! I have already been asked about the spelling mistakes that appear here and there. (my thanks go especially to Dominik..) So now I will free myself from any criticism in this regard, as long as you still understand what was meant to be said!!

The work at school is incredibly fun, but also extremely exhausting. Although we were already warned that it can get very restless and loud, I thought that I was used to a lot from kindergarten. A misjudgment.... fortunately, there is usually a teacher in the class who intervenes in case of an emergency or who can explain tasks that we have come up with in good Spanish.

We had come up with a little movement game in which the children had to run to the word called out in English. The first attempt with a whole class went totally wrong... It was almost impossible to explain the game to them and when they understood it, they ran into each other and one child even fell. After that, we ended the game. The second attempt with another class went better, but we only took ten children with us each time.

Wisdom of Dominik on September 13th: If you don't put on your shoes, you don't have to run.

The realization came after the lunch break, in which we all slept.

Otherwise, we are diligently rehearsing with the orchestra and the choir, as we have a performance on Wednesday. And between us... we still have to practice a lot. (Although we probably also have to lower our standards a bit)

Anna and I started doing sports this week, and that on the rooftop terrace at sunset. However, this impulse arose more from a frustrating situation for us, as the day was a bit difficult for us. First, we got on the wrong bus in the morning, even though we asked the driver, only to be put on another bus for which we also had to pay, but which did not go all the way to our destination. In the end, we walked to school.

Others intentionally turn off their mobile phones for a few weeks... and I break my mobile phone. Another highlight of the week. However, I have to say that it really annoyed me only on the first day. What I miss the most is that I no longer have a practical camera, no watch, or a flashlight.

So in the future, there will probably be fewer photos..

See you soon!
