Spending the day with some culture

Finally I decided to visit the Melbourne Museum, where you have a lot different cultural things to look at. I started my walk at the dinosaur walk where you can learn all about dinosaurs, how they lived, what they ate and the evolution of them. Nearby there is the marine life, different kind of species I never heard of. Especially in deep seas you will find species you don't really want to meet because they seem so scary and not very friendly. The wild life is not too far away, all kind of animals living in the wild and on different continents, you can even get information about them on a screen nearby, what do they called and where do they live. When you go further you will find the section about insects like spiders or butterflies but many more. Some you can see alive behind glass and you have a lot of new information which you probably never knew before. Especially when it comes to spiders or bugs it can be kinda scary knowing they are living among us. After that I have entered sections like the human body, WWI and the mind. Further on I have seen some of Melbourne History and the first people who lived in Australia. Unfortunately I couldn't explore it as much as I wanted because of the time lack. When you come over here you should take a lot of time if you want to explore and discover all because it takes time and I'm sure you don't want to rush through.

When I left the museum went to a bar/restaurant in Carlton, cool bar, rock kind of bar but the food is quite good, very simple but would definitely go back. They even have acts sometimes where you can listen to music and have a beer the same time. While I was staying there I got an invitation from a friend for a bowling. When I arrived at the bowling area, situated in the Melbourne station (commercial center), I realized it was organized by someone who does couch surfing. You only have to get a drink and ask for a voucher and you can play with people from all over the world and get to know where they are coming from etc. They even planned a laser game which I never played before but it was fun.
