The island is by far the most beautiful thing we have seen in Chile! We found the view from our cabin so unique that it is definitely in the top three of our world trip.

We thought we were very lucky to find this exceptional cabin with a spectacular view. But we didn't know our hosts yet. When we came to pay at their place, they immediately invited us to delicious beer and wine. After chatting for almost 1 hour, they extended their invitation to lunch as well. There was a very tasty fish soup. Since our landlord is a fisherman, he took out a fish about 1.5 meters long called Rio Krank from his refrigerator. He prepared it with full passion. We could only marvel. Even the children ate their soup and the entire fish. Fortunately, we didn't have to go far home, because the beer and wine had their effect. And that already at 3:00 p.m. in the afternoon.

Heike spent the rest of the day in her bed and the rest of the family enjoyed the view on the terrace. The children preferred to watch TV.
