The rain has subsided overnight and we have breakfast in the car, it is still cold. We pack our things and drive a bit inland. Once again, the road takes us on a mountain pass through a tropical-looking forest with very tall trees, palms, and giant ferns. In the middle, we briefly stop at a viewing platform to stretch our legs. We read on a sign that on clear days, you can see all the way to the sea... Unfortunately, our view is greatly restricted by the dense, low-hanging, and misty clouds.
Side note: Our seatbelt is making noises again - unfortunately, unintentionally. Let's see...
We continue driving in the rain and arrive at the Bombala campsite after noon. The weather and the cold (11 degrees) don't really motivate us. We listen to audio dramas, play games (Marco's score is improving, but still not as good as Sarah's ;) and relax in Yoshi. Now we're already looking for the campsite for the next night.
We would have loved to explore the village, but the rain just doesn't stop... how unfortunate.
Yoshi is getting cleaned all day long from all the rain. That's the real Aussie Summer - rainy all day & 11 degrees :-/
