Airlie Beach - Stop #3

November 18th

This morning at 6 o'clock we continued by bus to Airlie Beach from Townsville. We arrived there at 11 o'clock.

Unfortunately, we could only check in at the hostel at 2 o'clock. And it was quite busy here.

The hostel facilities here are huge. 🏘️ Not comparable to the maximum of 20 rooms in Asia.

So we just chilled out at the lagoon. Due to jellyfish season, swimming in the sea is also not possible here.

Otherwise, we didn't really do much today. 🙈 We strolled through the market, which is only here on the weekends. But nothing special.

But it really felt good to slow down after so much action and hustle of the last few days...

However, the day went by way too quickly. Today we went out to eat for the first time, as the hostel kitchen is really the worst we've had so far. 🙈

Tomorrow we're going to the Whitsundays to visit the whitehaven beach. 🏝

Counted among the whitest and most beautiful beaches.
