On Saturday, we went to Dave's (Padis coworker) house. He lives with his girlfriend and daughter in the Outback (about 1 hour away from us). Dave showed us his 36-acre property - it was really impressive for us.
We drove through the bush on a buggy, which was incredibly fun. Unfortunately, since the bushfire last week, there are no more animals there that we could hunt. But we made a stop at a river. The view was so beautiful, you could sit there all day and just enjoy the view.
However, so that we could shoot with a rifle even without animals, we stopped at a big rock. There, we tried shooting with a Winchester (can kill a crocodile or elephant) and another rifle. And we always hit the target ;)
It is an indescribable feeling of freedom to stand in the Outback and hold such a powerful weapon in your hands! We are happy that we can have these experiences in Australia.
