Heading south to Dunedin, which by the way has a good brewery and good beer🍺🍺. Stopped somewhere in the middle of nowhere to see an old railway tunnel dug by hand, about 200 meters long for about $10,000. Unimaginable today!🤦🤦🤦
Continuing south to visit two hidden waterfalls in the middle of the jungle, nice to see. Then stayed overnight in Curio Bay based on a recommendation from a local Swiss person, unfortunately without WiFi, with bad weather, and completely alone. A little disappointing. 😡😡
The next morning, full of energy, we went to the southernmost point, Bluff, at the end of State Highway 1. So we can say that we have traveled from the far north to the far south of New Zealand.
Coincidentally, there were two superstars of the All Blacks inaugurating a bank there, with press and fans. We still need to find out who they were.😕
So, with the cold and changeable weather, we drove to sunny Te Anau to spend the night. Ultimately, it was a great day.
