Die letzten Vorbereitungen laufen...

01/01/2019 I It's almost time - just a few more days until we embark on our journey into the wide world on January 2nd, 2019.

We are starting in India and despite all the preparations, we don't really know what to expect.

Many say, 'Either you love it or you hate it.'

So for the 199th time, we are going through our packing list that we have been revising for the past six months. Is anything missing? Maybe we don't need so much after all?

We check our route almost every day and constantly read travel blogs to prepare ourselves as best as possible for India and our world trip.

Our visa for India has already been approved (after initial rejection for Kimi) and everything else is practically finalized. The apartment is subletting and slowly emptying, the insurances have all been canceled, and we are trying to meet up with all our friends and family one last time before we won't see them for a year :( We still can't fully grasp that we will be leaving soon.

And suddenly, it's already New Year's Eve. We are sitting at home together, packing our backpacks until just before midnight. Only 2 more nights to sleep :-)

With our bags practically packed, we are ready to go now... :) World, here we come!
