We are slowly getting into a routine. By now, we know roughly where to buy things - or not. I have also found a regular morning route through a less busy residential area. And Martin is well connected with some members of the congregation. There is plenty of work, but it's not always easy to limit oneself. But overall, he's doing quite well and taking breaks. Today we stayed at home; it was good after 2 days of city hustle and bustle. We have guests coming over for dinner, for the first time.
Here in Peru, they are currently talking about the phenomenon of la niña. This means that a lot of cold water is flowing into the sea, resulting in little rain but lots of fog and very dry deserts. El niño, on the other hand, is when there is warm water, and then it rains a lot. This occurs about every 4 years. La niña often follows el niño. I hope I have explained that somewhat correctly. We dealt with el niño more often in Chile.
