Hello everyone!
We have been on the island of Fuerteventura since 7th December. Unfortunately, this is also the last stop of our 7-week trip. The weather is still warm and stable, with an average temperature of about 20 degrees. The beach is only about a 10-15 minute walk from our apartment and you can walk along a promenade by the sea.
Our apartment is large and has a great terrace with a ping pong table. We were a little surprised by the gas oven in the kitchen, which we initially had some difficulties with, but it works fine. Otherwise, the rest of the apartment is very modernly furnished.
Yesterday we went on a hike through 'Barranco de Enamorados'. The path leads through a ravine and along a dried-up riverbed. Despite the long inactivity of the river, you can clearly see where the water has carved its way. All around, we could observe fossil dunes that were shaped by water and wind. It was interesting to see how hard the petrified sand is. There are also some shells and dark stones in the fossil dunes.
Get ready for the experiences of our last weeks!
