What a busy day. ..

We experienced a few kilometers and many meters of elevation early this morning after a cold night. The descent towards Lake Garda was gigantic and breathtaking at the same time. It took us 1 1/2 hours to cover 45 km. Everything is a bit slower with the camper. Andi said if he had told me beforehand, I would have complained endlessly about the very narrow roads and steep slopes.

We had planned to go to the weekly market in Limone, but we couldn't because we couldn't find a parking space and the place was so crowded. So we continued to Riva, but there was also no parking in sight. After almost 2 1/2 hours of driving, we said goodbye to Lake Garda in the traffic jam and headed towards Bolzano/Merano. This is where we spend our last night in Italy. Unfortunately, it's not so easy to find a parking space here, hardly anything is available to reserve or already full. But we found one in Nals about 15 km from Merano.

After setting up the motorhome, we took the train to Merano, although it was a bit adventurous for us.

In Merano, we only went to the city center for an hour, including the last Italian ice cream. We also had to go to a supermarket because our dishwashing liquid is still at 1000m at Lake Garda since the morning dishes.

In the evening, we cooked our leftovers in the motorhome and will play our round of Rummikub.
