Warm reunion with Brain and Emely

After an invitation from Brain and Emely, we spontaneously took a few days off during our journey and paid them a visit.

This time, there was no work on the agenda. We could relax in beautiful weather without having to pay or really do anything - that was nice for a change. We have really found friends in both of them. Hugo and Cater were already my new best friends. 😅

During the days we were there, we cooked or baked for the family in the evenings. We could cook whatever we wanted. One day we had baked potatoes with herb quark and salmon, and on another day we had chicken curry - real luxury considering our current circumstances.

Our stay coincided with Hugo and Cater's school festival. What a crazy school festival. From our perspective, it had nothing to do with a school festival anymore, more like a festival. There was a lawn tractor race, helicopter rides, a bouncy castle park, a small Ferris wheel, etc. 😍😅
