They try to rip us off again with some oneday tickets. A day ticket costs 200 TB, a one-way trip on the orange line costs 15 TB and it takes you to all the sights.
It's a little bit like riding the vaporetto in Venice.
We get off at Rachini Pier station and walk to a market called Pak Klong Talet, which we discover more by chance.
We continue to Chinatown. Here you feel like you're on a big market for one euro shops.
It's so stuffy and humid today that we decide to continue by boat. On the Chao Phraya, we ride the orange line again through downtown to the final stop. Here, too, we are constantly being sold more expensive tickets.
At the final stop, we transfer to a boat in the other direction and get off at Chang Wang Lusng Pier, as we want to go to the Amulet Market to buy a "lucky" amulet.
You can also buy eggs here..., which are lying in the blazing sun 🤦♀️
Back at the hotel, we go back to the rooftop terrace.
In the evening, we spend our time on Khaosan Road again, listening to live music in a pub.
It's amazing what's going on here.
Tomorrow we will continue to Krabi 🏝🏝
