camping stories & Minnewanka lake ;)

After almost being eaten by the camper rental staff yesterday because she took sooooo long to show me around and my breakfast was long gone, I went straight to the nearest supermarket to acclimatize - literally. I almost froze inside wearing my t-shirt because they have air conditioning there and I felt like a frozen chicken, I even had the matching skin to go with it 🙄

When I came out of the building half frozen, it was 28 degrees outside! For the first time, I was looking forward to the sauna in the camper 😅😅😅

Oh man, I'm sitting in the restaurant right now and I had to burst out laughing at my descriptions.

Well, yesterday I didn't find it so funny. Back to yesterday... ;)

I arrived at the campsite starving... you know what that means for other people 😛

First, an older couple just watched me park, after I got out of the car three times to see how much space I had, of course, the damn reverse camera stopped working then. Of course, I could have asked them politely, but I wasn't feeling friendly anymore. I had to pee, I was hungry, and I had to park!! 🤨

Okay, my other neighbors who arrived shortly after were really nice. A bit too nice for my taste at that time. They wanted to know everything about me. Oh no, seriously, I just want to eat. They had a toddler with them, which probably saved their lives 😉

Although the little girl was absolutely adorable!!! She had her own camping chair in her size!!! She is 1.5 years old... imagine that. I almost wanted to eat her up 😂😂😂

The man quickly realized my problem and offered me a drink 😄

He's a butcher, she's a veterinarian. Funny couple ;)

Well, after these niceties, this day also came to an end... ;)

As you can see, the weather is perfect and I was able to just enjoy what is coming my way, without pressure, without a plan, I even got a parking spot there - which is supposedly impossible - and just had a super relaxed day. A nice balance for yesterday ;)

Yes, I'm pretty good at calming myself down these days. There's no one here to cheer me up 😋

I wish you were here 😘

I'll cook spaghetti one of these days, just to remember
