Sunday, April 15th was unfortunately our last day :( But it was still great!
Iderlan picked us up in the morning and we went to a super cool house to check it out. Lorena, the sweet mouse, was also there. After that, we went to the pool and everyone we got to know during the week came again. They grilled and we played in the water while listening to the music from Iderlan's car. As I looked at it, I wished I could stay in that moment forever...
Iderlan tried to teach me how to dance, but it didn't go so well :D It was fun though :) After dinner, we made music with Filio again and danced together to the song Noss. What a show :D Suddenly, the sky opened up and it started raining. But we were already wet anyway, so we just stayed in the pool. After that, we went home and got dressed up and went to a party. Unfortunately, it was already over because of the rain. But that was no problem for Iderlan, Filio, and his two sons. We went directly to another party. Forro of the old folks :D There was crazy dancing:D Filio and his sons even performed and mentioned us by name in front of everyone :D What an honor! It was so much fun. Then we went back to Filio's house and had coffee, Janiele also stopped by and we said goodbye. It was the perfect last day!
Monday, April 16th arrived. We got up and cleaned. Marta gave me a self-sewn top as a farewell gift, and we received a farewell letter from Lorena.
It was already sad.
Then we left at noon, went to school briefly to say goodbye to Lorena, Raffael, and the others once again. It was already a done deal for me :D At the bus station, when we had to say goodbye to dear Marta and our Iderlan, I was very sad! ;(
It was a wonderful time, and as they say, "one should always leave when it's the most beautiful". I will definitely come back and visit the little São Miguel and my loved ones!
When we were on the bus, the journey to Fortaleza went by quickly. Samuel, Dalila, and Samuel's brother picked us up at the train station. But we went to Clece's place. She is also a good friend of Ana's. She took us to a Pirata. She loaned me a dress, which she even gave me as a gift in the end. Very kind!!
Pirata is a big party that doesn't happen very often. I've never experienced anything like it. It's not like us, where everyone dances on their own. No, it's a real participatory party :D There are actual show acts on stage and when the singer says "left," everyone goes left :D Fascinating. We stayed there until 3 a.m. and then went home. We made some food and had a bit of wine before falling asleep at 5:00 a.m. :D Thank you Clece!
