Dream tour day 5

Arrived in Tuscany!!!

Florence and Livorno were just the prelude, here and now in Volterra I have arrived in "my Tuscany". Here it smells of past centuries as you stroll through the sometimes narrow and sometimes dark streets, I feel transported back to ancient times when I look into tiny courtyards and narrow passages.

Even the bus ride here was worth the trip, one view more beautiful than the other, soft hills, green grass, cypresses everywhere - Tuscany dream tour 😍.

Even my apartment in Via degli Alberi is a little dream - antique furniture that has seen a lifetime, lace in front of the windows and views of the streets of Volterra. And Aldo, the friendly landlord who invited me for coffee, we had a great conversation, my Italian is not so bad after all 💪😉

Tomorrow I will explore the old streets at my leisure - today is the end at 19:00!

Insight of the day: sometimes the old is more beautiful than the new.
