Day 369 - Pool Day

Hello, my dears

Our day today started brilliantly!

As agreed yesterday, our breakfast was delivered promptly at 10:00 a.m. It was a “floating breakfast” in a basket designed to float. We were surprised by the size of the basket and the food looked really tasty too!

Since our pool was still in the shade, we just sat on the terrace and chatted about God and the world.

When the sun hid behind the clouds at midday, our hunger got the better of us and we started to eat. It was really funny and went surprisingly well! We were definitely thrilled! For some questionable reason, this breakfast costs the same as the buffet in the main building. The decision wasn't difficult for us and we ordered the floating breakfast again for tomorrow. ☺️

We spent the rest of the afternoon on our beautiful terrace and in the great pool.

At around 5:00 p.m. we set off and drove down to the beach to the shopping street.

First we went to a really nice restaurant right by the sea. Among other things, combination meals were offered there, in which different dishes were served in small sizes. We tried that! I chose the Curry Experience: green, red and massaman curry

Kevin had three different Thai chicken noodle dishes.

It was really tasty and a great idea with the combos.

We bought a few more of the floating candles, we really like them! We also found one or two souvenirs, something to drink and some food for the accommodation.
