Day 25 and 26 in York

Atejade: 30.06.2022

We have been walking around York for 2 days now. It is a beautiful city, not as big and much cleaner than Birmingham.

We walked along the city walls, visited the Minster, the Railway Museum, some parks (even dog-free!), had delicious food, and also visited 2 chocolate shops where hot and cold chocolate drinks were served.

In one of the parks, donations were collected for birds of prey and the children got a chance to hold one. They loved it.

Moritz also went to a bookstore and now he reluctantly switched to English-language mangas.

There is a lot of activity at the campsite. With 3 nights, we are definitely among the longer staying ones.

Tomorrow we will continue north to Hadrian's Wall.
