After our midnight snack in daylight in the beautiful garden of our host, we slept in.
After breakfast and a few minutes of sun, our host took us to Svolvær, the capital of the Lofoten Islands.
Svolvær is a small city. A main square with a bakery, tourist information, souvenir shop, and a small harbor area cover almost the entire area of the city.
A small church is located on a small hill right next to the main square.
From the main island, there are connections, either by bridge or ferry, to some smaller islands.
Overall, it is a small city, but two hours is enough to see it.
Finally, at 15:15, our last bus to Narvik departed.
After a 4.5-hour drive, we finally arrived at our apartment, where we cooked dinner right away.
We won't do much today, but we wish you a good night and a nice start to the new week!
(Side note: 7.5km, 5-hour bus ride)
