On our way to Bergen, we make a small stopover. Despite Maria's seasickness, we have to take two ferry rides today. Thanks to travel medication, this is somewhat bearable. We drive for kilometers through an uninhabited area and dense forest, where there are only single-lane roads. We sweat quite a bit and hope that no one comes towards us. Because we still can't reverse properly with Polly. In addition, the handle of the overrun brake for reversing has been broken for a while, and we cannot repair it ourselves. So the lever has to be constantly pushed by one person when reversing. Somehow, this is also dangerous in the long run... But we are lucky when we arrive at the ferry terminal. The smallest ferry we have taken so far, and also the shortest crossing of only 10 minutes. In Masfjordnes, we find a small parking lot and head out into the 'place'. The place consists of a few houses with a small supermarket and a cafe. The reason for this stop is that Nicole actually was here 20 years ago. At the age of 12, she went on a fishing trip here with her family and her cousin's family. In hindsight, we wonder what one would do here on vacation at the age of 12...? It's a strange feeling, but also somehow cool to be here again. After this little visit, we continue to Bergen and hope to find a free spot there.
