From Rostock to Zingst/Darst

Almost a perfect day - if it weren't for the incident with the room key. After breakfast, it suddenly couldn't be found. I'll spare you the whole story. In the end, there was a mix-up with the bike room key, so a cyclist from another group mistakenly took my key to his room. Everything was eventually sorted out, but we could have done without the excitement. Otherwise, it was the perfect day for cycling. Sun from beginning to end, not too hot, and the wind not too strong until the end of the stage. We started from Rostock, heading back to the coast, where we reached Darst about halfway through the route. It's a really beautiful peninsula where a lot of money seems to have been invested. The infrastructure with the paths was excellent, and there were also a number of very elegant thatched villas. It almost reminded me of Sylt. In Zingst, we have now checked into our accommodation and will be watching the Germany - Denmark Round of 16 match tonight. I hope our mood is better afterward than the weather forecast for tomorrow.
