Loonbeek is a village in the Belgian province of Flemish Brabant, and a part of the municipality of Huldenberg. And precisely there, in Huldenberg - what a place name! - we landed on a small, cozy campsite coming from France. Rural location, surrounded by nature, but close to Leuven and Brussels.
Potatoes are called «Aardappelen» here and the apple grower is called «Appelfabriek». By the way, the many cycling and hiking trails are well signposted. The meadows and fields here are just as dried out as we saw in France.
