We are now back in Canada. For us, this is like coming home. Last year was an intense time here.
We really enjoyed Yellowstone Park. With all the animals, impressions, hiking
The route north takes us through the vast prairie and back to the mountains. The national parks are lined up one after the other. Unfortunately, everyone agrees that there is no telephone connection or internet. You are pretty isolated in that respect.
We weren't so lucky at Glassier National Park. The roads we wanted to drive on were still closed. Winter isn't far away yet. We still find a nice campsite and make ourselves comfortable in the great weather. Campfire, explore the area - not just for one night. Unfortunately, Freddy was not allowed as a free-roaming cat. $80 for the cat. Well, considering the bears we saw on the next day on the way, that's no surprise.
100 km of gravel roads lie ahead of us. They call it campland here. You can camp wherever you like. Whether in the forest, by the river, by the lake. You see anglers, quad bikers and just campers in a good mood. A huge saver. The only thing you have to do is keep an eye on your campfire.
We entered Canada via a small border crossing. Absolutely no problem. The Rocky Mountains are with us again. They are still just as impressive for us. Calligory is very close by. Last year we picked Jesse up there. Just before Jasper we hike to the glacier and afterwards we visit the town.
Then you can look forward to a nice spot by the lake again. We have three seasons on the tour again: spring, summer, winter.
Yesterday we adopted Pacific time again. 9 hours time difference to Germany. We are sitting with our first cup of coffee and you are off work.
Greetings from British Columbia
